At Jingles Child Development Centre, we offer group therapy services for children who can benefit from working and learning with their peers in a group setting. Group therapy can be a valuable complement to individual therapy, providing opportunities for socialization, peer support, and learning through shared experiences.
Our group therapy sessions are led by licensed therapists and educators who are experienced in working with children with a variety of developmental needs. We offer group therapy for speech therapy, occupational therapy, and special education.
Benefits of group therapy include:
Socialization: Group therapy provides children with the opportunity to interact and socialize with their peers in a supportive environment.
Peer Support: Children can provide each other with encouragement, support, and motivation to achieve their goals.
Skill Development: Group therapy can be an effective way to practice and develop social, communication, and problem-solving skills
Cost-Effective: Group therapy can be a cost-effective alternative to individual therapy, while still providing high-quality care and support.
We offer group therapy sessions for a range of age groups and developmental needs. Our therapists and educators work closely with each child to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for group therapy sessions. We use a variety of evidence-based techniques and tools to support group therapy, including interactive games and activities, virtual learning materials, and video modelling.
